InsightWise - Helping The Strategy Group merge AI speed with human-centred clarity in CX research
Led design direction for InsightWise, contributing to its product clarity and investor traction — supporting a $1M pre-seed raise and showcasing impact via the project dashboard.
With LLMs redefining analysis, The Strategy Group needed to evolve. Could they use AI to deepen customer understanding — without diluting the strategic nuance that sets them apart? The risk wasn’t just falling behind — it was losing what made their work meaningful.
MY APPROACH
I led UX design direction for InsightWise — a custom LLM-powered tool — from ideation to high-fidelity prototyping. Co-created prompts with analysts, tested interactions, and applied NLP best practice to ensure outputs were clear, contextual, and fact-grounded.

Through iterative prompt design and UX refinement, we showed AI could reveal—not replace—strategic insight.

THE IMPACT
The PoC showed measurable gains: analysis time dropped, accuracy improved, and previously hidden patterns emerged — without compromising strategic nuance. Our approach demonstrated that AI can reveal, not replace, deep insight. The work helped position InsightWise for growth, contributing to its $1M pre-seed raise led by US and Australian investors. The startup has since gained national recognition, including selection in the National AI Centre’s inaugural sprint and winning the People’s Choice vote.
