Connecting Officers to Real-Time AI Situational Awareness

Accenture - Helping Accenture prototype working AI- and IoT-powered system to improve public safety and officer readiness

THE CHALLENGE

Disconnected systems left officers without the full picture

Police tools like facial recognition and evidence logs existed — but in silos. This fragmentation created blind spots in critical situations. We needed a unified PoC to show how real-time data, AI, and IoT could transform front-line awareness and safety.

MY APPROACH

Blending emerging tech with real-world police workflows

I led prototyping across facial recognition and AI chatbot features, designed NLP-based decision trees, and ran iterative feedback loops with engineers and officers to ensure practical integration and regulatory alignment.

THE IMPACT

A future-ready connected officer system — funded, tested, and field-backed

We delivered a working PoC that cut response times and improved proactive policing. Officers could ID suspects in seconds, access nearby intel via chatbot, and operate with greater ease. The demo won internal buy-in and secured follow-on work for Accenture — proving that complex tech, when designed with users, can feel simple and essential.
